How Multiple Implants Work

Multiple implants, unlike bridges and dentures, are self-supporting which mean your surrounding teeth are not used as anchors or otherwise affected. They work just like single implants except that two or more anchors are put in place- one for each missing tooth.

Implants are also more comfortable, won’t affect the way you eat or speak and don’t need to be removed for cleaning.

When we place the titanium screw, we use a local anaesthetic so you won’t feel any pain apart from some minor discomfort for a few days after. This discomfort is normally caused by the healing of the stitches and will normally go away on its own in just a few days.
